Study in Israel — Tech, Science & Research

Israel's universities (Technion, Tel Aviv University, Hebrew University, Ben-Gurion, Reichman) and the Weizmann Institute are known for science, engineering, AI and entrepreneurship. Some bachelor's programmes are taught in English. Weizmann is for MSc and PhD only.

It is one of the world's strongest research and start-up ecosystems, and India–Israel ties in science, agriculture and technology are deep. It is best suited to research-minded students at master's or PhD level.

• ✓Tel Aviv University BA Liberal Arts (in English, 3 years): USD 15,500 a year (official page).
• ✓Weizmann Institute: MSc fellowship of NIS 7,000 a month for 24 months; PhD fellowship of NIS 9,000 a month for 4.5 years.
• ✓Israeli government (MFA) scholarships exist for master's, PhD and postdoc applicants under 35.

• •Strong Class 12 results for undergraduate programmes; a bachelor's for master's.
• •English proficiency for English-taught programmes; some programmes move to Hebrew after year 1, so check.
• •Student visa (A/2): admission letter, proof of funds, insurance. Work is generally not permitted on it.

• •Engineering, computer science, life sciences, physics, agriculture and water technology, and liberal arts.
