How do I choose between NEET and JEE (and what if I'm unsure)?
Match the exam to your interest and strengths: NEET (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) leads to medicine; JEE (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) leads to engineering. Pick by what you enjoy — Biology vs Maths — not by peer pressure.
NEET is for medical/allied fields and tests Physics, Chemistry and Biology (no Maths). JEE is for engineering and tests Physics, Chemistry and Maths (no Biology). The cleanest deciding question is: do you enjoy Biology and the idea of medicine, or Maths and building/engineering? Your natural interest predicts both your effort and your endurance over two hard years. Attempting both is very tough because Biology and Maths pull in different directions — most students should commit to one. If truly unsure, take PCMB in class 11, sample both, and decide early (by mid-11th) so you can specialise.
